Handbags

If you were to go out today, no matter where you went you would be able to spot someone with a Coach bag. These purses have become very popular and everyone wants one. Because of this popularity, there are a lot of replica and fake bags out there. Be knowledgeable and know a few tips to identify fake Coach purses to make sure you are getting the real deal.

Coach purses are only sold in certain places. You can get them at Coach stores, the Coach website, the Coach catalog and a few specialty department stores. No individual, no purse parties or online auction is guaranteed to be selling you a true Coach bag. The majority are fake. Any retailer overseas is selling you a knockoff.

Know how a Coach bag is supposed to look. The “C”s will be the only letter on the bag. There are bags out there with different letters such as “O” or “G”. Coach will only have the “C”. The “C”s will be in a pattern and side by side pairs will face each other. The tips of the “C”s will be touching. The “C” pattern will not end in the middle of the bag. The only place this pattern will end is at the sides of the bag. Make sure the pattern is lined up and uniform. Nothing is to be crooked.

Inside the bag will be a serial number. The serial number is made up of letters and number and will be embossed onto a leather patch that is stitched into the inside of the bag. Coach only uses certain zippers and those are by YKK. Check the zipper to make sure the letters YKK are on it. If not, the bag is a fake.

All Coach bags are created with fantastic stitching. No stitching should be loose, pulled, crooked or have an overall poor quality appearance. Everything on these bags is stitched. Nothing is glued. If anything is glued, that is a big clue that this bag is a fake. Take notice of the hardware on these purses. They should have a heavy feel and not be able to be bent or twisted in any way.

Not every bag purchased will have a dust bag but if it does, the dust bag will be either brown or tan with the stitching done in red. The Coach logo will also be stamped onto this dust bag.

Every Coach purse will have a logo tag. These tags are made of 2 pieces of leather stitched together with the word Coach on it. The letters in Coach will be raised. This logo tag will be attached to the bag by a looped chain.

Having knowledge of a few tips to identify fake Coach purses will help you to make an excellent choice when selecting your new purse. These bags are wonderfully made and built to last so knowing your stuff will make the search that much easier.

Armed with this knowledge, you should be able to go an ebay and spot any imposter bags, try searching for Coach 10620 or Coach 12657 handbag.
